Low level LASER therapy is used to deliver Photons adjacent to the area of the affected nerve roots. Till recent times, Class 3 a or 3b Lasers were only used in Physiotherapy. In February 2007, FDA approved Class 4 LASER for treatment of pain. Now for the first time in India and the Middle-east we are introducing Class 4 Lasers. They are powerful and can penetrate 5 to 6 inches enabling to treat deep seated joints like hip joints and Gluteal muscles. Conventional LASERS penetrate only 1 to 2 cm. The out put power of routine LASERS used in Physiotherapy ranges from 200 to 500mW while Class 4 LASER has an out put from 7000 to 15000 mW.
